Naples, Italy - Antonio Conte was left fuming after a controversial VAR decision denied Inter Milan a crucial victory in their 1-1 draw with Napoli on Sunday. The controversial decision has once again brought the use of VAR into the spotlight. While the technology aims to minimize errors and ensure fair play, critics argue that its use often leads to excessive scrutiny and intervention in the flow of the game.

Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti, in contrast to Conte, defended the VAR decision. "The referee saw it, and the VAR saw it. It was a penalty," he stated, dismissing Conte's accusations.

The draw leaves Inter Milan still in second place in the Serie A table, three points behind leaders AC Milan. Napoli, on the other hand, remain in third place, five points behind the reigning champions.
