England Races Past West Indies in Second T20, Level Series at 1-1

Bridgetown, Barbados: England roared back in style, securing a convincing 20-run victory over the West Indies in the second T20 International at Kensington Oval on Tuesday. This victory levelled the three-match series at 1-1, setting the stage for a thrilling decider on Thursday.

The West Indies, who had triumphed in the opening encounter, were unable to replicate their impressive performance. England, however, put in a dominant display, showcasing their batting prowess and clinical bowling.

The match began with England winning the toss and electing to bat first. They got off to a blistering start, with openers Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales setting the tone with a blistering 89-run opening stand. Mayers, despite a valiant effort, was dismissed for 56, while Pooran fell for 41. The West Indies were unable to keep up with the required run-rate, eventually falling short by 20 runs.
