Conte Rages After VAR Controversy Steals Points from Tottenham

Conte's anger was further fueled by the fact that a similar incident involving Ivan Toney in the first half went unpunished, with no VAR review for a potential handball. “It was a clear handball, but for some reason, they [VAR] didn't want to check it,” he added.

“I have to be honest,” Conte continued, “I'm a bit disappointed by the referee and VAR today. They made big mistakes and it cost us two points. It’s not fair.”

The draw leaves Tottenham in 5th place, four points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table.
